The effect of pH on oxidative mechanism has been reported. Reaction mechanism with reaction dynamics for both uncatalysed and catalysed reaction has been proposed. The catalytic range for Ru (III) was found to be 1. 0 x 10–7 mol dm–3. Role of acid has been found to be complex in nature.
