Physico-Chemical Characteristics of Kunigal Lake in Tumkur District, Karnataka, India

Twenty four physical and chemical parameters of water sample were analyzed, which show fluctuation throughout the sampling periods (two years 2007-2009). Higher amount of alkanity, pH, total dissolved solids, poor dissolved oxygen and high turbidity show that water of Kunigal is unfit for potability.
