Conclusions: Our findings indicated that the levels of Mg, P, cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol and triglyceride altered during dialysis session. PTH levels showed significant differences when we compared the groups of control and pre-, post-hemodialysis. Moreover, the correlation between P and cholesterol levels in hemodialysis groups demonstrated that there were association between P and cholesterol. Further extensive studies are necessary to clarify the effect of P levels on lipid parameters.
