The apparent molar absorptivity is 6.497 × 104 l/mol/cm. The method gave satisfactory results in terms of repeatability and intermediate precision (RSD< 3.0%). Themethod developed was validated and proved to be robust and rugged. The results showed that this method was successfully applied to the determination of risperidone in tablets, and the results were statistically compared with those of the literature method by employing StudentÂs t-test and F- test.
